Can you tell us briefly about your career journey to date?
A registered nurse from South Korea, worked as a school nurse teacher before moving to Australia; obtained an Australian nursing registration in the early 90s; since 2001, postdoc, and till now committed to research in dementia care and care of older people, aged care workforce, quality of care in aged care.
What has been the highlights?
Working with brilliant minds around the world – being able to say confidently person centred and reablement approaches to care make a different to the lives of people living with dementia and their families and carers.
Can you tell us about the main challenges?
Saying No to new opportunities that interest me because of a limited amount of time.
What are you hoping to achieve in 2018?
Continue to be able to be an agent of change.
If you were to give an early career researcher one piece of advice, what would it be?
Find a broad area of research that you are passionate about.

What would it be? A good pair of shoes that last for good.
