Dementia Researcher is proud to highlight the upcoming 35th Alzheimer Europe Conference, taking place from 6 to 8 October 2025 in Bologna, Italy, under the theme “Connecting science and communities: The future of dementia care.”
Organised by Alzheimer Europe, in collaboration with Alzheimer Uniti Italia and Federazione Alzheimer Italia, the conference will bring together leading voices in research, policy, and care to explore the latest developments and innovations in dementia.
Call for Abstracts – Deadline Approaching (30 April 2025)
With just two weeks remaining, researchers are encouraged to submit abstracts for oral and poster presentations. Topics span across six broad themes, including people, care services, research translation, policy, types of dementia, and care approaches.
Submit now to contribute to #35AEC and share your work with an international audience.
Early Bird Registration – Now Open Until 30 June 2025
Take advantage of the reduced early bird rate of €500 (standard €640), which includes full access to sessions, exhibitions, catering, networking events, and more.

Bursaries for Early Stage Researchers
In collaboration with the INTERDEM Academy, the Alzheimer Europe Foundation is offering 10 bursaries of €1,000 for early career researchers presenting work under the topic “Dementia researchers of the future – Innovative approaches to dementia.” Applications must be submitted by 30 April 2025.
