The Academy of Medical Sciences is pleased to announce a new round of the Daniel Turnberg Travel Fellowships and is accepting applications from early career researchers from the UK, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon and The Palestinian Territories.
The Academy of Medical Sciences offers these travel fellowships to encourage early career biomedical and medical researchers to collaborate outside their home country allowing them to experience an alternative research environment, meet experts in their field, learn new techniques and develop plans for future joint work. The Fellowship will cover airfare and a subsistence allowance for a period of up to four weeks. Funding is provided to an upper limit of £3,500 per fellowship (up to £750 of which can be used to cover the cost of airfares). This year they are offering a small number of three month fellowships. The upper limit for these is £9,000 (up to £750 of which can be used to cover the cost of airfares)
