The University of Edinburgh’s Centre for Dementia Prevention combines research in science, medicine and social science to lead global efforts in preventing dementia.
The Dementia Prevention Open Lectures will highlight their vision to:
- advance understanding of biomarkers in clinical and preclinical human populations
- drive global efforts to deliver new medicines that could act before clinical symptoms of dementia appear
- improve the experience of living with dementia by developing strategies that increase the quality of life
- empower people to understand and protect their brain health, for a future without dementia.
Ticket and Event Information
The events are free and open to the public. To secure your place, tickets have to be booked in advance via Eventbrite. The lectures will take place in a lecture theatre which is accessible to wheelchair users and equipped with an induction loop system.
