In the run up to Dementia Action Week, Alzheimer’s Research UK is making 12 May their first ever Defeat Dementia Day [1]! They will be holding public collections in locations across the UK to raise money and awareness about the importance of dementia research, and they need your help!
They’re looking for volunteers to represent the charity at their local collection location on 12 May. We know researchers are grateful of funding provided by ARUK, so we hop eyou can be there to say thank you and help them raise even more money for research.
Regional Fundraising Officers will be organising collections for volunteers and fundraising groups at key locations in each region – a full list of collections already secured can be found in the drop-down menu at www.alzheimersresearchuk.org/defeatdementiaday [1]
