36th Global Conference of Alzheimer’s Disease International
24/04/2024 - 26/04/2024

Alzheimer’s Disease International (ADI) is proud to play host to the longest running international conference on dementia, attracting over 1,000 delegates from all corners of the world. The conference boasts an international range of keynote speakers and oral and poster presenters, whose talks report on the latest advances in each of the 7 action areas of the World Health Organization’s (WHO’s) Global action plan on dementia.
With a high standard of scientific and non-scientific content, the conference programme appeals to a broad audience ranging from medical professionals and researchers to informal carers and people living with dementia.
About ADI
ADI is the international federation of Alzheimer and dementia associations around the world; in official relations with the World Health Organization (WHO). Our vision is risk reduction, timely diagnosis, care and inclusion today, and cure tomorrow.
We believe that tackling dementia requires efforts at global, regional and local levels, and so we advocate at multilateral, bilateral and regional levels. We work by empowering Alzheimer and dementia associations to advocate for dementia as a national priority, to raise awareness and to offer care and support for people with dementia and their care partners. Globally, we strive to focus attention on dementia, maintain it as a global health priority, campaign for better policy from governments and encourage investment and innovation in dementia research. Learn more about ADI here.

The association’s mission is to organise comprehensive support for people living with dementia and their carers. They do this through a variety of services, including patient and carer support groups, counselling and psychological support, and dementia care training. The association is also focused on raising awareness through educational seminars and events as well as distributing materials and working to influence government and advocating for policy change.
