Advancing EDI in Housing for Older Adults

28/02/2024 @ 10:30 am - 12:00 pm

Advancing Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion in Housing for Older Adults Event

Supported by leading specialist retirement housing operator, Housing 21, this session puts the spotlight on how the sector is embracing equality, diversity and inclusion in the way it delivers housing, care and support for older people.

Chaired by Jeremy Porteus, CEO of Housing LIN, the session will set out Housing 21’s work in a range of deprived communities to overturn the marginal housing choices on offer for older people, including cohousing. We will also be joined by colleagues from two University-led research projects that are actively including people to codesign solutions that address their experiences of housing inequity and health and care inequalities.
