AHP Parkinson’s Interest Group Virtual Meeting

We are pleased to announce that the North East and Cumbria Allied Healthcare Professional PIGLET virtual meeting is back on Wednesday 19 October 2.00pm – 4.00pm.
The meeting will be hosted by Dr Rosie Morris, Lead of the North East and Cumbria local Excellence Network AHP PIGLET Parkinson’s Interest Group.
This is a specialised Parkinson’s interest group meeting for allied healthcare professionals (AHPs), providing local education and training.
We will be holding the meeting virtually again this year to give you all an opportunity to come together and receive the latest updates on research and clinical care for people with Parkinson’s.
The purpose of the meeting is to bring together healthcare professionals with an interest in Parkinson’s and hear talks from specialists with a focus on the latest research, clinical practice and service improvement for people with Parkinson’s. Whether you are an expert or a novice, a student or a professional, you are all welcome!
Meeting aims:
- Bring together healthcare professionals from across the region with an interest in Parkinson’s
- Disseminate the latest research and clinical knowledge from invited speakers
- Discuss current research and clinical care with other healthcare professionals from around the region.
