Challenges & Complexities of Studies in Multiple LTCs
February 1 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

Patients are often ineligible for participation in research studies because of existing co-morbidities, and yet in an ageing population, few patients will present with just one condition.
How are researchers able to address this issue and answer important research questions? and how can we ensure that research opportunities are available to all?
This event has been put together by the 4 Northern LCRNs (Local Clinical Research Networks) and will include a number of presentations from clinicians and nurses talking about studies in both primary and secondary care; the experience of living with MLTCs from patients and carers perspective, and discussions around research priorities from the NIHR.
