Cognition Oriented Treatments in Aging & Dementia

27/01/2023 @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Michigan State Research Program on Cognition and Neuromodulation Based Interventions

The Research Program on Cognition and Neuromodulation Based Interventions (RP-CNBI) employs neuropsychological assessment, neuroimaging, transcranial electrical stimulation (tES), and cognitive rehabilitation strategies to understand and assess the aging brain in the context of neurodegenerative diseases.

Dr. Benjamin Hampstead and the RP-CNBI team are excited to host a symposium on Cognition Oriented Treatments (COT) in older adults across the “normal” to dementia spectrum, which will be held Friday January 27, 2023. This symposium brings together experts from around the world with the goal of reviewing evidence supporting a number of COT approaches including cognitive training, cognitive rehabilitation, and cognitive stimulation. Registration is free and CE credits are available (for free) through the University of Michigan.
