Genetics and Genomic Medicine ECR Symposium

This Symposium will be an in person only event in the Leolin Price Lecture Theatre at ICH and it’s open to all across UCL and beyond. We would be delighted if you could join us in person, as there will be an opportunity to catch up with colleagues during the tea break.

The programme features talks from Early Career Researchers across all four sections of the GGM department and also the BRC Early Careers. We are also pleased to feature a talk from our guest speaker Dr Lauren Byrne, as well as a collection of briefings from our Research Support colleagues.

Biography

Keynote SpeakerDr Lauren Byrne (Junior PI)

Dr Byrne is a Medical Research Council funded principal investigator who established her lab in 2022. Her current research focus is on innovative approaches to biofluid biomarker development for Huntington’s disease (HD), including remote biofluid collection and big data harmonization to empower biomarker modelling efforts.
