Join us for the inaugral Londonomics Network Annual Symposium 2024
Are you an Early Career Researcher (eg. PhD student, Postdoc, early PI) in bioinformatics? Then this symposium is for you.
Following on from our popular monthly co-working events, join us for a day of exciting talks, networking and career discussions. Present your work as a poster or talk to get fresh new ideas and the chance to win prizes.
Provisional schedule
9:00 am – 9.30 am: Registration
9:30 am – 10.30 am: Short Talks
10:30 am -12.10 pm: Long talks
12:10 pm – 1:30 pm: Lunch
1:30 pm – 2:30 pm: Career mentorship session
2.30 pm – 3.30 pm: Keynote lecture: Dr. Maria Secrier
3.30 pm – 4:00 pm: Coffee break
4:00 pm – 5:45 pm: Poster session
5:45 pm – 6:00 pm: Prize giving and wrap-up
6:00 pm – 7:00 pm: Networking session drinks
Registration
Attendance is £25 per person. We have a limited capacity, therefore registration will close once all tickets have been allocated. We don’t want this fee to be a barrier to anyone attending, so we have a limited number of free tickets available, to be considered please email us at londonomics@outlook.com.
Abstracts must be submitted by 24th April. Successful applicants will be notified of whether they have been selected for a short talk, long talk or poster by 3rd May.
