The Female Pioneers of Neuroscience: A Hidden History

March 3 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm

A Hidden History Talk by Dr Jenny Lange

The field of neuroscience has made huge strides over the last century, however contributions of female scientists have often been overlooked or overshadowed by the work of their male counterparts.

In the lead up to International Woman’s day, Dr Jenny Lange will discuss the trailblazing work of female neuroscientists that paved the way for breakthroughs and notable discoveries. Historically, women have been underrepresented in scientific fields, however in this talk we will celebrate the female pioneers who persevered and without whom advances in neuroscience would not have been possible. Join this exciting talk and learn about hidden historical figures and the women leading neuroscience research today.
