Underdiagnosis of Dementia in Rural Populations
February 10 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm

The ISTAART Diversity and Disparities PIA are pleased to announce an upcoming webinar hosted by our Rural Health Disparities work group. It is titled Underdiagnosis of Dementia in Rural Populations. Rural residents face higher dementia risk and limited healthcare access, leading to delayed diagnosis and shorter survival compared to urban residents. We will highlight these disparities in rural dementia care and discuss strategies for improvement.
