This free event is suitable for everyone. Whether you are living with the condition\, caring for someone with dementia or looking to learn more about this common health condition. \nArrive at a time that suits you\, and stay for as long as you like. \nAt Let’s Talk Dementia you can: \n\nAttend short talks from dementia specialists\nTake part in a dementia-friendly activity\nMeet experts in care\, health\, research\, legal matters and much more.\n\nThe Bristol Beacon is a fully accessible venue \nThis event is brought to you by three Bristol charities specialising in dementia\, research\, and improving the lives and care of older people. \nBRACE Dementia Research based at Southmead Hospital. The charity funds world-class clinical and laboratory research into dementia to find better treatments\, achieve earlier diagnosis and hopefully\, one day\, a cure. Together\, we will defeat dementia. \nBristol Dementia Action Alliance educates the communities of Bristol about dementia and supports those living with dementia and their loved ones through activity groups. BDAA provides free dementia awareness sessions for businesses\, organisations and groups and recognizes those who are striving to make Bristol a dementia aware city through its annual BDAA Awards. \nAlive Activities is the UK’s leading charity enriching the lives of older people in care and training their carers. \nAlive: \n\nEngage older people creatively through meaningful activity sessions\nTrain staff to deliver outstanding care at every opportunity\nConnect older people to their local communities\nSpeak up for the rights of older people in care.\n\n\nRegister
