SUMMARY:Beyond compliance - turn patient engagement regulation into research results
DESCRIPTION:The UK is becoming a faster\, more predictable\, and higher-performing environment for global clinical research. Following landmark updates to the UK Clinical Trials regulations in April 2026\, participant engagement is no longer just best practice. \nDave Dunton from our Patient Engagement in Clinical Development (PECD) service will lead a session exploring these new regulations – from registering trials publicly to providing lay summaries. \nHear how we’ve already helped lots of commercial sponsors to ‘stress test’ patient-facing documents\, gather insights from focus groups\, connect with national networks\, and embed meaningful patient feedback into processes. \nOur experienced panel will share first-hand experience\, insights and case-study examples: \n\nDr Sally Dews\, Pfizer\nClive Collett\, Health Research Authority\nEmily Pickering\, NIHR\nDr Claudio Spera\, AAVantgarde\nMala Thapar\, Public Contributor\n\nCan’t join us live? Register to receive the recording via email.
