DESCRIPTION:Population Health Improvement UK\, UKPRP Prevention Research Network and the National Institute for Health and Care Research invite you to the second Prevention Research Conference. Join us at Vox in Birmingham\, 4-5 March 2026 to explore the latest research and collaborative strategies for preventing non-communicable diseases and reducing health inequalities across the UK. \nThis event is open to the prevention research community\, whether you are conducting research into the primary prevention of non-communicable diseases\, developing interventions to reduce health inequalities and illness\, or using this research to improve policy or service delivery. \nThe partnership of PHI UK\, UKPRP PRN and NIHR brings together three of the UK’s leading health research networks and funders\, enabling Prevention Research 2026 to convene wide-ranging perspectives on the future of research and action for better prevention\, population health and equity. \nFollowing the success of the first Prevention Research Conference in 2023\, this event will showcase non-communicable disease prevention research from: \n\nUKPRP-funded consortia and networks\nthe four PHI UK research consortia\nacross NIHR\nthe wider UK research and practice community\n\nOpportunities for discussion will include: \n\nEmerging research practice including collaborations between research\, public and policy stakeholders\nMaximising impact and taking systems approaches\nCreating meaningful public involvement and engagement\n\nThe conference is funded by PHI UK and the UKPRP. \nRegistration now open \nRegistration for Prevention Research 2026 is now open.
