DESCRIPTION:Save the Date for TDP43 Summit 2026 – May 21\, 2026 in Madison\, Wisconsin \n\nWe invite researchers to submit abstracts for for new and emerging data on biomarkers for TDP43. Our goal is to feature cutting-edge research\, with a preference for unpublished or recently published findings that advance our understanding of TDP43 pathology and detection\, co-pathology with AD or other closely aligned topics.\n\nA selection of top applicants will be invited to give an oral presentation during the summit.  \nApplication Process\n\nApplicants are asked to submit a ~250-word abstract describing their research. Tables and figures are welcome and encouraged. Submissions will be reviewed based on scientific merit and relevance\, with priority given to novel data. If you wish to be considered for the oral presentation\, please mark the selection on the abstract submission process.\n\nSubmission window has been extended to February 20\, 2026 and awardees will be notified by the end of March. Space is limited! \nApplications may be submitted online at this link: https://uwmadison.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_06NGAuRlTgGrsJo \nTravel Awards \nSummit Travel Awards support emerging scientists advancing biomarker discovery and neurodegenerative disease research. \nTo offset the cost of travel (hotel and flight)\, funding may be provided. Selection is highly competitive and based on the scientific merit\, originality\, and impact of the submitted abstract. \nThe application for this award is integrated into the abstract submission form. \nEligibility Criteria \n\nAuthorship: Be the presenting author of an abstract submitted for presentation at the 2026 TDP43 Summit.\nCareer Stage: Be currently enrolled in a graduate or medical program\, or—if already graduated—within five years of earning an MD\, PhD\, or completing residency or postdoctoral training.
