SUMMARY:Making Alzheimer’s Biomarkers More Accessible
DESCRIPTION:Join this 60-minute live webinar exploring practical advances in blood-based biomarker testing for Alzheimer’s disease (AD)\, with a focus on scalable and accessible quantitation of the optimal combination of biomarkers. \nDespite rapid growth in AD biomarker research\, it is not always clear which targets are the most meaningful and which measurement system best serves a given application. Quantitation methods range from highly specialized platforms requiring significant capital investment\, to simpler approaches with lower sensitivity. \nThis session will introduce a new cost-effective and sensitive (sub-pg/mL) biomarker detection platform and present findings on an AD 5-plex biomarker panel on well-characterized clinical samples. Preliminary data on an eMTBR-tau243 and BD pTau-217 duplex available for early-access will also be presented. \nThrough a structured webinar format combining expert presentation and moderated discussion\, participants will explore: \n\nConsiderations and tradeoffs for selecting biomarker quantitation methods\nDeep-dive into scalable ultrasensitive detection without capital equipment\nThe rational for targeted biomarker panels\, including why pTau-217\, Aβ42\, Aβ40\, NfL\, and GFAP were selected.\nEvaluate targeted biomarker panel performance in well-characterized clinical samples\n\nDesigned to support scientific exchange and practical understanding\, this session will provide a first look at evolving data and its potential implications for research and clinical workflows. \nFaculty \nChair: Marissa Lee\, PhD\, Director of Applications\, Taudia\nSpeaker: Noah Elder\, Director of R&D\, Taudia \nThis webinar is delivered in collaboration with Taudia. \n\nRegister
