SUMMARY:ARIA – Prediction\, detection and management
DESCRIPTION:The introduction of anti-amyloid monoclonal antibody therapies for Alzheimer’s disease highlights the growing importance of ARIA (Amyloid-Related Imaging Abnormalities) in clinical practice\, encompassing prediction\, detection\, and management. Addressing ARIA effectively is essential for the safe and successful implementation of these novel treatments. \nIn this webinar\,  \n\nPD Dr. med. Piotr Radojewski (Translational Imaging Center Bern and University Institute of Diagnostic and Interventional Neuroradiology\, Inselspital\, University Hospital Bern) will provide an in-depth overview of current strategies for predicting\, detecting\, and managing ARIA\, with a focus on imaging-based approaches and clinical decision-making. \n\nThe webinar is hosted by  \n\nProf. Bogdan Draganski (Inselspital Bern) and offers a platform for expert exchange and discussion\, enabling participants to share perspectives and experiences related to ARIA in the context of emerging Alzheimer’s therapies. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEvent details:\n\nDate: 12.02.2026\nTime: 12:00\nDuration: 50 minutes (includes Q&A)\nLanguage: English\nLocation: Online (link to be provided upon registration)\nCosts: Free of charge\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCredits\n\nSchweizerische Vereinigung für Neuropsychologie (SVNP): 1 credit\nSchweizerische Fachgesellschaft für Geriatrie (SFGG): 1 credit\nSchweizerische Neurologische Gesellschaft (SNG): 1 credit\nSchweizerische Gesellschaft für Alterspsychiatrie und Alterspsychotherapie (SGAP-SPPA): 1 credit\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSecure your spot\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFill out the registration form below and you will receive a link to access the webinar. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRegister now

SUMMARY:Redefining Recovery: Addressing TBI as a Chronic Condition
DESCRIPTION:Traumatic brain injury (TBI) is not a single event. Instead\, its effects may unfold over months\, years\, or even a lifetime. In this webinar\, co-hosted by the Brain Injury Association of America and the National Academies of Sciences\, Engineering\, and Medicine\, Dr. Kristen Dams-O’Connor will present the latest science\, discuss evidence-based strategies to improve the care of people living with chronic TBI symptoms\, and address information and service gaps. \nWhether you are a healthcare professional\, policymaker\, advocate\, caregiver\, or person living with brain injury\, this webinar will deepen your understanding of TBI across the lifespan and highlight actionable steps to improve outcomes and quality of life for millions of Americans affected by brain injury. \nLearning objectives: \n\nDiscuss the incidence and prevalence of chronic symptoms afer TBI\nExamine risk and protective for chronic TBI symptoms\nDescribe opportunities to fill information and resource gaps for people living with chronic symptoms after a TBI\n\nKristen Dams-O’Connor\, Ph.D. is the Director of the Brain Injury Research Center (BIRC) of Mount Sinai\, an internationally recognized program for traumatic brain injury (TBI) research and care. She is the Jack Nash Professor and Vice Chair of Research in the Department of Rehabilitation and Human Performance\, and Professor of Neurology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (ISMMS). She completed a BA in Neuroscience at Colgate University\, a PhD at the University at Albany\, and predoctoral training at the Rusk Institute at NYU. She completed postdoctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology and brain injury research and joined the faculty at ISMMS as an Assistant Professor in 2011. \nRegister to Attend
