SUMMARY:Meet the New Alzheimer’s Society Awardees
DESCRIPTION:Join Dementia Researcher at 11am BST on Thursday 25 June for a special livestream with Dr Alice Carstairs from Alzheimer’s Society\, introducing their newly funded Fellows and awardees. \nAlzheimer’s Society has announced £5.45m of funding to support 17 new research awards across the dementia research spectrum\, from molecular mechanisms and biomarkers to diagnosis\, care\, mobility\, inequalities\, prevention and support for people living with dementia. \nIn this session\, Alice will explain the aims of the funding call\, what these awards are designed to support\, and why investing in emerging dementia researchers matters.
