SUMMARY:Endosomal-lysosomal network dysfunction in neurodegeneration
DESCRIPTION:The 2026 Harden Conference on ‘Endosomal-lysosomal Network Dysfunction in Neurodegeneration’ will be the first focused UK based conference bringing together world-leading researchers in endosomal-lysosomal biology and neurodegenerative research. \nAlterations in the endosomal-lysosomal system are emerging as key features underlying pathogenesis in several neurodegenerative and neurological disorders\, and has generated significant interest as to whether this pathway can be targeted for early-stage diagnostics and therapeutics. \nThis meeting aims to generate new insight into the latest advances in the endosomal-lysosomal system to enhance the rate of discovery in neurodegenerative research. Researchers from all career stages across the academic and industrial sectors will come together to exchange ideas\, share cutting edge methodologies and technical knowledge\, and formulate new collaborations. SUMMARY:2026: Biomarker Strategies for FTD Clinical Trials
DESCRIPTION:AFTD is dedicated to improving the lives of families coping with FTD and to advancing research into effective treatments and a cure. The FTD Research Roundtable provides a precompetitive space for biopharmaceutical companies to partner and advance drug development for FTD\, with input from regulators and scientific leaders\, all of whom share a common interest in eliminating barriers to success in FTD clinical trials. If you are working on FTD drug development or a related field and you think that you should participate in the Roundtable\, please get in touch with research@theaftd.org. \nThere has been immense growth in companies focusing on FTD drug development. However\, all companies face similar challenges in FTD drug development.
