SUMMARY:Embedding PPI in Grant Writing Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Brighton and Sussex Medical School invites you to join our workshop focusing on embedding meaningful Public and Patient Involvement (PPI) in research grant applications. \nDuring the session\, Senior Academic Researchers from Brighton and Sussex Medical School and the University of Sussex will share their experiences of integrating PPI into research projects from the earliest stages of development. They will discuss practical approaches to meaningful community involvement and demonstrate how these activities have strengthened successful grant applications. \nThe workshop aims to support researchers in planning\, delivering and effectively reporting on PPI activities within their own projects\, with a view to specifically helping them to develop stronger grant applications. As meaningful PPI is now an expected component of most funding applications\, this session will offer practical insights into how to demonstrate the value and impact of involvement activities in grant proposals. \nPlease note this meeting will be hybrid. For those wishing to join in person\, it will be taking place at the University of Sussex\, JMS building\, Kroto Room 2B4\, for those wishing to attend digitally\, please join via this teams invite.  \n\nClick Here
