DESCRIPTION:Join stroke researchers\, clinicians and healthcare professionals in Manchester for two days of research updates\, discussion and networking at the UK Stroke Research Workshop 2026. \nTaking place on Wednesday 9 and Thursday 10 September 2026\, the workshop will feature national and international speakers presenting the latest evidence and developments across stroke research. \nSessions will explore: \n\nNew frontiers in acute stroke therapy\nNew approaches to stroke prevention\nThe psychological consequences of stroke and their treatment\nNew technologies for modelling and treating stroke\nCerebral small vessel disease\n\nThe programme also includes a practical workshop on working with the media and getting your research noticed\, alongside platform presentations\, poster tours\, prizes and networking opportunities.
