SUMMARY:Vignette Workshop: Addressing Inequalities in Dementia Care
DESCRIPTION:Do you work in health or social care and support people living with dementia? This interactive\, face to face workshop invites professionals to explore inequalities in dementia care through structured vignette discussions. \nWorking in small groups\, attendees will review written case scenarios and collaboratively identify challenges and practical solutions to reduce inequalities experienced by people living with dementia. \nThis Equadem Network + session offers a valuable opportunity to reflect on real world situations\, share perspectives\, and contribute to improving care approaches across services. \nWhen\nWednesday 20th May – 13:30 to 15:30 – Registration from 13:00 \nWhere\nUniversity of Liverpool \nWho Should Attend\nThis workshop is open to anyone aged 18 and over\, based in England\, and working in health or social care or local authorities with people living with dementia. \nThis includes\, but is not limited to:GPs\, physiotherapists\, clinical psychologists\, psychiatrists\, occupational therapists\, nurses\, orthoptists\, carers\, support workers\, and those working in day care\, home care\, residential care\, or commissioning roles. \nWhat to Expect\n\nGroup based discussion of dementia care scenarios\nIdentification of inequalities and barriers\nCollaborative problem solving\nShared learning across disciplines\n\nRefreshments\nTea\, coffee\, and biscuits will be available during registration. \nReimbursement\nParticipants will receive a £30 shopping voucher as a thank you for their time. \nContact\nEquademnetworkplus@liverpool.ac.ukemma.williams2@liverpool.ac.uk \n\nRegister

DESCRIPTION:The London Omics Network is pleased to hosting Roman Laddach\, a bioinformatician from 10x Genomics\, who will provide an interactive session on Xenium to answer questions about bioinformatic workflows\, analyses\, and topics you may have! Current topics raised include: quality checks\, cell segmentation and cell type annotations. Got other analytical challenges? Come by to ask and gain insight into how to tackle them. SUMMARY:Leadership in Action: Global Brain Health Satellite Sessions
DESCRIPTION:As part of the Global Brain Health Institute’s (GBHI) 10 year milestone\, five global sites are hosting Leadership in Action: Global Brain Health Satellite Sessions in May 2026. \nThese locally led events\, organized by Atlantic Fellows in collaboration with regional partners\, highlight innovative\, community driven approaches to advancing brain health equity around the world. \nThis webinar marks the culmination of these efforts.
