DESCRIPTION:Join us on Wednesday\, 12 August at 12pm BST for an information session about Alzheimer’s Research UK’s call for Expressions of Interest to lead a new Dementia Research Network. \nDr Jacqui-Ann Hanley\, Alzheimer’s Research UK Head of Funding\, will introduce the call\, explain what ARUK is looking for and answer questions from prospective applicants. \nThe new Networks will bring researchers together across disciplines\, institutions and career stages around a clear scientific theme\, challenge or capability. Successful Networks could receive up to £200\,000 per year for up to five years\, beginning in January 2027. \nThe session will cover: \n\nThe aims and scope of the call\nWho is eligible to lead a Network\nWhat makes a strong Network theme and proposal\nLeadership\, ECR\, PPIE and EDI expectations\nFunding and eligible activities\nThe Expression of Interest and selection process\n\nThere will also be an opportunity to put your questions directly to Joshua during the live Q&A. \nSet a Reminder

DESCRIPTION:Join ENRICH Scotland online on August 12th for a RICH Voices Meet the Researcher session \n\n\n\n\nWe will be joined by two researchers who will discuss their research proposals: \nEilidh Tousland\, a trainee Clinical Psychologist\, is recruiting participants for a research study related to staff wellbeing in care homes. The research aims to understand what helps care home staff feel well and positive at work. \nDr Fawn Harrad-Hyde’s research explores how decisions are made when a care home residents health deteriorate. Fawn wants to make sure that she designs a study that would work in care home settings and would like to discuss her ideas and get feedback from the RICH voices group. \nRegistrants will receive the details required to join the meeting via email – Wednesday 12 August  •  2 PM – 3 PM GMT+1 \n\nRegister
