Health Research Futures is a free online course that explores a range of topics in clinical research, including the changing role of nurses, compassion and ethics, and the importance of patients.
The four week course is designed to prompt discussion and debate within the health and care workforce and offers valuable continuing professional development (CPD) for those engaged in health and care research design and delivery. Health Research Futures awards four hours of CPD certified by the National Institute of Health Research Clinical Research Network.
The course includes:
- Twelve podcasts (three per week)
- Short weekly quiz
- Live online discussion forum every week, led by Professor Allan Gaw, Associate Director for Educational Quality Standards, National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Clinical Research Network
