In order to apply you will need to carefully review the:
This is a ‘Straight to Stage 2’ process and Stage 1 applications are not required.
The PHR programme is seeking proposals to better understand the availability and potential of routinely collected administrative and service activity data to support decision making in local authorities to improve the health within their local populations, or across multiple local authorities, and reduce inequalities in health. Specifically, we are keen to explore what are the organisational and technical barriers to increased data utilisation, how to overcome them and facilitate the building of regional and national partnerships that make optimum use of data for policy and decision making.
We anticipate that a range of projects in size and scope will be commissioned (between £50K – £250K). The outputs will need to be delivered by December 2021.
Applications are welcomed from throughout the UK and may be from an individual or group.
General questions about the call and further guidance may be obtained by sending a short summary (max 1 A4 page) of the proposal to the following address: firstname.lastname@example.org
Stage 2 applications received by 1pm on 7 January 2021, and deemed within remit, will be assessed for their importance to public health by the Prioritisation Committee (PC) in January 2021. Applications shortlisted by the PC will be considered by the Funding Committee (FC) in February 2021, and assessed for scientific quality, feasibility and value for money. Successful applicants will be expected to start work during spring 2021 to deliver by December 2021.
