A call for applications to evaluate novel or repurposed interventions for the treatment, management or diagnosis of neurodegenerative conditions, including degenerative dementias. Applications must concentrate on determining the clinical efficacy of interventions. Studies with a strong hypothesisdriven mechanistic component and studies into potentially disease-modifying treatments are likely to be considered a priority under this call. Projects must have a strong collaborative approach, involving at least two of academia, NHS and industry. The EME Programme is particularly keen to encourage collaboration with small and medium enterprises.
