The MRC-NIHR Efficacy and Mechanism Evaluation (EME) Programme and the NIHR Postdoctoral Career Development Awards scheme are accepting applications to a joint funding opportunity, the EME Postdoctoral Award.
This award gives Postdoctoral Career Development Award applicants, who wish to benefit from a funded programme of research training and development, the opportunity to apply for the research funding available through the EME Programme so that they can deliver and gain experience of leading a clinical study within the EME Programme remit.
Successful applicants will become members of the NIHR Academy and have access to additional leadership training, mentorship, and other career development support.
This opportunity involves a 2-stage application and review process, to facilitate the ease of submission and review. The review process will involve assessment by a joint EME-Postdoctoral Career Development Award Funding Committee who will make a funding recommendation for the Department of Health and Social Care for the entire application.
