Research Officer roles supporting REF2029 impact case studies across public health centres including dementia research, on a part time fixed term basis.
We are seeking to appoint three 0.5fte fixed-term Research Officers [4] (Impact and Engagement) to support our public health research centres in developing Impact Case Studies (ICS) for our Unit of Assessment (UoA3) REF2029 submission. These key roles will provide support to the research centre Directors and ICS Leads.
Each research centre has well-developed ICSs and is now seeking to collate evidence from a wide variety of sources to develop final versions for submission to REF2029. The appointees will play a key role in scoping and collecting evidence to demonstrate the significance and reach of underpinning research.
The roles are aligned to a specific research centre, but there is the possibility for a suitably qualified candidate to work across two centres at 1.0fte. The positions are available until 31st July 2028.
You will be aligned to one of the following research centres:
- Centre for Dementia Research (CDR)
- Centre for Health Promotion Research (CHPR)
- Obesity Institute (OI)
Following an excellent outcome from our REF2021 submission to UoA3 (Allied Health Profession, Dentistry, Nursing and Pharmacy), the School of Health aims to submit world-leading ICSs for REF2029.
Closing date: Monday 16th Febuary (23:59) On occasions where a high volume of applications are received, we may close vacancies early. If you wish to apply for this role, it is recommended that you do so promptly.
