Earlier this month the ISTAART PIA to Elevate Early Career Researchers (PEERS) and University College London published the results of a wide-ranging careers survey undertaken at the end of 2021.
The report outlined plans to undertake further work to understand the life and careers of early career dementia researchers, and to follow-up with further work to understand how support can be specifically targeted.
To support this work, Dementia Researcher aims to establish an expert panel / mailing list of 100 PhD Students and 100 Postdoctoral Dementia Researchers, working across all fields of discovery worldwide. People on the list will be invited by Dementia Researcher and PEERS to undertake further short, focussed surveys / share their views on an ad-hoc basis – with the option to leave at any time.
You will not receive any payment for participating, however this will allow you to make your views count and inform careers-based research and the support and guidance delivered by Dementia Researcher and PEERS in the future.
