An exciting feature of Dementia Researcher Communities is our Online Journal Clubs Platform—tailor-made for researchers and clinicians working in all areas of dementia research discovery, from care research to biomarkers, fundamental science to clinical services.
We’re excited to announce a new Journal Club focused on fluid and neuroimaging biomarkers!
This club will provide a space for researchers interested in exploring the latest advances in cerebrospinal fluid, blood-based biomarkers, and neuroimaging techniques in dementia research. Whether you work directly in biomarker discovery or are keen to understand how these tools shape clinical and research practice, this club is for you!
Journal clubs cover a wide range of research topics—you can join an existing group or volunteer to act as a co-ordinator and start your own. Our journal clubs have up to 20 members, including a co-ordinator, and meet for one hour each month using our app’s Live Rooms functionality.
Between meetings, discussion continues in our dedicated chat spaces, where members agree on the next paper, set meeting times, and decide who will present. When a meeting is scheduled, you’ll receive an invitation and joining link. Can’t make it? No problem! Meetings are recorded and saved within the group so you can catch up later.
If you’re passionate about biomarkers in dementia research, this is your chance to join a community of like-minded researchers, discuss the latest papers, and expand your knowledge.
