Tell us a fun fact about yourself:

I was born the day that Elvis died!

Why did you choose to work in dementia?

From early in my career I was frustrated by poorly funded SLT services for people with dementia alongside a lack of recognition about what SLTs can offer, particularly for those in the later stages of the condition. I am keen to develop knowledge about positive benefits that SLTs can have on quality of life for people with dementia throughout the course of the illness.
