I am a postdoctoral research fellow at Queen Mary University of London. I work across a number of projects including my own fellowship, a Dementia and Neurodegeneration Policy Research Unit, and the APPLE-Tree clinical trial
Tell us a fun fact about yourself:
I won a goldfish playing hook-a-duck at a fair and it lived for 17 years!
Why did you choose to work in dementia:
My interest in dementia began when my grandma was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, which shaped both my personal and professional journey and sparked my passion for research that can truly make a difference
What single piece of of advice would you give to an early career researcher?
Surround yourself with people who support and champion you – and don’t forget to support others too.

Any romcom — but really I’m more of a fan of binging TV series, from crime and drama to reality shows and pretty much anything in between
