Welcome to the Driving research excellence through supporting postdoctoral talent workshop! Join us at the Hilton York on November 6, 2025 at 9:30am for a day filled with case studies and insightful discussions on the value of supporting and enabling our postdoctoral community.

This high-level workshop is designed for senior leaders, (A)PVC-Rs, research culture leaders, and research directors to examine the critical role of postdoctoral researchers in delivering high quality research. It aims to contribute meaningfully to the wider sector conversation on People, Culture and Environment and to help institutions to better support their R&I staff and enhance research excellence.

Through interactive sessions and panel discussions, the event will spotlight innovative approaches and recent research on key issues such as redeployment, fixed-term contracts, precarity, and career development—offering practical insights and sector-leading interventions.
