WHO Global Webinar: Launch of the Second Edition of the WHO Guidelines on Risk Reduction of Cognitive Decline and Dementia

The World Health Organization is hosting a global webinar to launch the second edition of its guidelines on the risk reduction of cognitive decline and dementia.

This high-level online event will bring together people with lived experience, scientific experts and country representatives to mark the publication of the updated guidelines.

The new edition reflects the latest available evidence and provides practical recommendations to help countries, health systems and communities strengthen dementia risk reduction across the life course. The webinar will introduce the new and updated recommendations, explore what they mean in practice, and consider actions that can support better brain health at individual, community and system level.

This event will be particularly relevant for researchers, clinicians, policy makers, public health professionals, dementia organisations, and anyone with an interest in prevention, brain health and dementia risk reduction.

The webinar will be held in English, with interpretation available in French, Portuguese and Spanish.
