Neighbourhood Health Service and Unpaid Carers
04/09/2025 @ 9:30 am - 11:00 am

The UK Government’s long-awaited 10 year plan for health in England is out, and the aim of the day is to bring care closer to home, through “Neighbourhood Health Services”.
But what might this mean for unpaid carers, and where do local carer services fit in? And can we go one step further to a concept of “Neighbourhood Health and Care Services”?
Join Carers Trust for this post-summer webinar as we explore what needs to be considered both locally and nationally to ensure that Neighbourhood Health and Care Services (we and others are going to keep pushing this idea until it sticks…) help improve involvement and support for unpaid carers, not add to the already sky-high burden that they face. And we will be highlighting why local carer services have a crucial role within all of this which needs to be recognised. And of course – what can we learn from areas where this model is already happening?
The joining link for the webinar will be sent out at least 2 days before the event.
