March 5 @ 9:30 am - 11:30 am

SPIN-D Network +

An online showcase introducing key datasets that can be used to study brain health, dementia risk and early changes across the life course.

The event will highlight resources including PROTECT, UCL Centre for Longitudinal Studies and the Data Atlas, alongside real examples of how these data are being used in projects such as INFLAIM and by members of the DEMON network.

The session will also explore meaningful involvement of people with lived experience in data-driven research with Laura Gray. Designed for early-career researchers, clinicians, data scientists and others interested in dementia and brain health research.

SPIN Dementia Network Plus is a UK-wide research and engagement network focused on reducing the risk of dementia and improving the experience of living with the condition by supporting new projects, fostering collaboration, and involving people with lived experience, researchers and care professionals. The network brings together diverse stakeholders to share knowledge, drive innovation and promote community involvement in dementia research, risk reduction and brain health awareness. It is one of four Dementia Network Plus initiatives jointly supported by the Alzheimer’s Society, the Economic and Social Research Council and the NIHR.
