Session four of the ISTAART Guide to Grants webinar series tackles the numbers side of an application: your budget.

Aimed at investigators, it demystifies what your budget is actually communicating to reviewers and programme staff about your project, and what it needs to prove.

The series comes from the Alzheimer’s Association International Research Program, which funds investigators at every career stage, and takes you behind the scenes of its grants process from Letter of Intent (LOI) through to peer review. Join one session or all six. It is aimed at anyone who finds the funding process daunting, particularly early in their career, and is worth a look whether you are preparing a first application or scanning our funding calls for the next one.

Presenters

  • Sarah Fontaine, Senior Director, Medical and Scientific Relations, Alzheimer’s Association
  • Carolyn Hronec, Senior Grants Specialist, Alzheimer’s Association

Guest speakers join selected sessions to add their own perspectives.

The full series

Every session starts at 10am US Central Time. All webinars are recorded and available on demand afterwards. Questions about the series can go to the Alzheimer’s Association grants team at grants@alz.org.
