Health Studies User Conference 2024

This free conference, organised by the UK Data Service in collaboration with UCL and the National Centre for Social Research, will be held online. Do you use UK quantitative studies from the UK Data Service for health-related research, such as the Health Survey for EnglandScottish Health SurveyNational Survey of Sexual Attitudes and LifestylesPsychiatric Morbidity SurveysUnderstanding SocietyBirth Cohort Studies and many more?

Submissions are now open for the Health Studies User Conference 2025.

This free conference, organised by the UK Data Service in collaboration with UCL and the National Centre for Social Research, will be held online on 23 June 2025.

The programme will contain a mixture of papers from data producers and researchers who have used the data. We are delighted to announce that this year’s keynote speaker is Oyinlola Oyebode, Professor of Public Health and Centre Lead Public Health and Policy, Queen Mary University of London.

We would like to invite offers of research presentations based on the analysis of the health studies. Abstracts from researchers at all stages of their career, including PhD students, are welcome.

Please send offers of a paper using the online submission form by midnight on Sunday 6 April. By submitting your abstract you are agreeing to your information being shared with our conference partners.

We will evaluate all abstracts and notify authors after the selection process. A detailed programme of presentations will be provided prior to the conference.

Conference booking is open but the programme will not be available until after the call for papers deadline.
