ALZHEIMER'S RESEARCH UK Logo

In this Alzheimer’s Research UK webinar discover what decades of research reveal about dementia risk, and how health, lifestyle and experiences at different points in life contribute to brain health later on at our free online public event.

Date: Tuesday 24 March 2026
Time: 1-1:45 GMT
Location: Online (Zoom)

Speakers:

Dr Sarah-Naomi James, A senior research fellow at UCL. She explores how health, education and life experiences earlier in life are linked to memory and brain health in later years. Her research helps us to understand dementia risk and resilience.

James Groves, Alzheimer’s Research UK-funded PhD student at UCL. Resident doctor at the National Hospital for Neurology & Neurosurgery. He studies why some people’s brains and bodies age faster than others and how experiences across life shape dementia risk.
