Shaping Community and Lasting Impact

March 30 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Shaping Community Event

Join Adam Smith, Programme Director of Dementia Researcher, for a webinar exploring how researchers can build meaningful collaborations, grow professional networks, and develop a strong personal presence within their field.

Drawing on experience supporting thousands of early career researchers across the global dementia research community, Adam will discuss what they have done, what has worked and what hasn’t, the difference between networks and communities and practical ways to connect with others, share your work more effectively, and contribute to communities that strengthen research careers. The session will look at how collaboration, visibility, and engagement can help researchers create opportunities, support peers, and extend the reach of their work.

This session is part of the Scottish ARC Cross Alliance Webinar Series and is designed for researchers who want to expand their networks, strengthen collaborations, and build a recognised presence within their research community.
