UK Dementia Congress 2026
November 17 @ 9:00 am - November 18 @ 5:00 pm

The UK Dementia Congress marks its 20th year at Doncaster Racecourse on Tuesday 17 and Wednesday 18 November 2026, bringing together everyone involved in dementia care to learn, share and be inspired.
Organised by Dementia Community, publishers of the Journal of Dementia Care, UK Dementia Congress is the largest annual multi-disciplinary dementia event and exhibition in the UK. This anniversary programme puts the voices of people affected by dementia centre stage, alongside practitioners, researchers, commissioners and care providers.
Programme highlights
- An opening session on inclusion and getting dementia care right for every community
- A debate on whether social care is fit for the future of dementia care
- The Tom Kitwood Memorial Address, looking back over 20 years of Congress and ahead to what comes next
- Talks, workshops and an exhibition, with plenty of time for networking
If you are working on care, services or patient and public involvement, it is a rare chance to hear directly from people with lived experience and the practitioners putting research into practice.
Concessionary tickets are available for students, people living with dementia, family carers and people on a low income, and there are reduced rates for small organisations. On the evening of 17 November there is also a 20th anniversary dinner and Dementia Disco.
