Methodology, Theory, and Research Design Frames
November 2 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

A free online session from the School of Advanced Study, University of London, on how methodology, theory and research design fit together in a research project.
Every project rests on choices about method and theory, and on a research design that holds them together. This session explores how to think about those frames, how they shape the questions you can ask, and how to explain and justify your choices in your own work.
It is part of the SAS Research Training series, which runs weekly through the autumn. Sessions are aimed at postgraduate researchers in the humanities, and will be of most use to dementia researchers working in qualitative, social and humanities-based research.
Booking
All are welcome. The session is free, but you need to book through the SAS event page. It runs online via Zoom, and joining details are emailed to registered attendees 24 hours before it starts. Questions can go to kremena.velinova@sas.ac.uk.
