Notes on Note-taking
October 26 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

A free online session from the School of Advanced Study, University of London, on taking better research notes and keeping them under control.
How do you go about taking notes for your research, and how do you keep track of them all? Led by Dr Elizabeth Dearnley of Edinburgh Napier University, this session discusses ways of taking notes more effectively, along with strategies for keeping them organised so you can find what you need when it comes to writing.
It is part of the SAS Research Training series, which runs weekly through the autumn. Sessions are aimed at postgraduate researchers in the humanities, but anyone who has lost a key reference in a pile of notebooks and folders will find it useful, whatever their field.
Booking
All are welcome. The session is free, but you need to book. It runs online via Zoom, and joining details are emailed to registered attendees 24 hours before it starts. Questions can go to kremena.velinova@sas.ac.uk.
