Vivensa Foundation 2026 Annual Symposium

Join The Vivensa Foundation to hear about the fantastic initiatives we have been supporting and meet our 2026 Excellence Award winners.

Join us in-person 10.00-16.30 on Thursday 23rd April 2026 at the the IET in London for our annual symposium.

Our theme this year is “evidence into practice” and we will also be announcing the winners of this year’s Vivensa Academy Excellence Awards.

The event is free to attend**. To register, the deadline is Monday 6th April 2026. As part of the registration process, we are offering attendees the opportunity to nominate themselves for a poster presentation and/or a speaking slot in the ‘5-minute research showcase’ section of the agenda. We’ll be reviewing and selecting titles/abstracts to ensure a diverse range of topic areas, career stages and presenters are represented. The deadline to submit a title and abstract for a poster is 20th March 2026. Given the limited space available for speaking/posters slots, priority will be given to those from projects funded by the Vivensa Foundation. We will notify all attendees in advance to confirm whether their abstract has been selected for a poster or talk.

**We will also aim to cover the costs of travel to the event for early career researchers (ECRs), where there is no other means to claim these back. Priority of any available funds will be given to Vivensa Foundation-funded ECRs and/or those selected to present at the event – attendees intending to claim travel costs should confirm these with the Foundation prior to booking travel.
