Tell us a little about yourself:
I am a Professor of Psychiatry and Consultant Psychiatrist. I have always been interested in inequalities in dementia, initially in pathways to diagnosis and more recently in the epidemiology of dementia as well as prevention, diagnosis and care
Tell us a fun fact about yourself:
I enjoy singing and performed to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society
Why did you choose to work in dementia:
I found it interesting because of the complexity of the condition and its aetiology. It also has a huge impact on people living with it and the more people researching how to improve things the better
