The NIHR Efficacy and Mechanism Evaluation (EME) Programme and Health Technology Assessment (HTA) Programme are accepting outline applications to the joint Postdoctoral Award.
This funding opportunity is aimed at supporting capacity building to support future leaders in efficacy and effectiveness clinical trials research. All proposals submitted must fall within the scope of the EME Programme OR the HTA Programme or an overlap of the 2. Applicants must fulfil the requirements for an NIHR Postdoctoral Award.
Please note – the outline stage is primarily to assess the clinical trial aspects of your application; including remit and competitiveness for the EME/HTA Programmes and to provide feedback if you are shortlisted to the full application stage. At the outline stage, you are asked to provide a flexible upload (maximum 1 page A4) detailing how an EME/HTA Postdoctoral Award will advance your career to become a future leader in clinical trials. Full details of training, development and mentorship will be requested at the full application stage if you are shortlisted.
