We are delighted to announce Dr Cynthia Sandor as a plenary speaker at the in person Manchester UK Hub of AAIC Neuroscience Next 2026, on 26th February.
Dr Sandor is Group Leader at the UK Dementia Research and Edmond & Lily Safra Assistant Professor in Parkinson’s Disease at Imperial College London. Her research brings together expertise in wearable technologies, digital health, and artificial intelligence to identify biomarkers that can transform how dementia is detected, monitored, and managed.
With a background spanning biomedical engineering, neuroimaging, and applied data science, Dr Sandor’s work focuses on developing technology biomarkers that capture real-world, continuous measures of brain and body function. These innovations aim to enhance clinical trials, enable earlier intervention, and support personalised care.
At AAIC Neuroscience Next 2026, Dr Sandor will deliver a plenary lecture exploring this dynamic area of biomarkers, offering insights to inspire the dementia research community and the next generation of scientists and clinicians.
